Three year old questions

...on breastfeeding. LOL. So when we first brought Rhys home Gavin casually asked what I was doing as I fed Rhys. We left it very matter-of-fact and told him Rhys was eating. He asked if he was "drinking milk"? To which we easily replied with a yes. So we got out of that conversation unscathed.

Then last weekend Gavin said...

"Mommy, where did you buy the milk that is in there (pointing to the breast)?" Then he questions; "Mommy, how do you put the milk in there?"

He kills me!

Haven't posted in a long time. Sorry! Things have been very busy since Rhys' arrival! I can't believe it but he will already be 4 weeks old tomorrow. This infancy thing flies by. I learned from Gavin's babyhood to cherish every moment, because before you know it he will be three and talking back and refusing to go to bed. :)

Gavin's transition has been rough. I won't sugar coat it. The last week has been really difficult. Just all around defiance and negative attention seeking behavior. I feel as if I am working with one of the kiddos from work. I know it is just an adjustment and things get better...but with the lack of sleep somethings are just exhausting!

Rhys is doing wonderfully. We enjoy every second...I think that Jonathan is even enjoying the "tiny" baby stage this time. He still can't wait for both of them to be 12 and 8 so they can do all kinds of "boy" stuff together. But he is so much more seasoned this time that he doesn't stress as much.
