38 weeks!

Today I am officially 38 weeks. The next two weeks are going to be exciting. I am working for 13 more days (if I make it). I am trying to work up until the day the baby comes. That way I won't use any of my days without the baby. Everyone at work says that I have dropped. I can tell. Belly seems smaller and I feel as if I have a bowling ball between my legs. Contractions are coming and going but nothing too exciting.

Kids are done with school and yesterday was the teacher's last day. These next two weeks are the most boring of the whole year. Just me, social worker, and principal. Usually, I would still have quite a few things to do, but this year in the attempt to be prepared for labor I have worked my heiny off in the last two weeks and am completely caught up. So I will have to lay low for the next two weeks. I like having these two weeks as overflow so I don't want the bosses knowing I have all my work done two weeks early!

We are heading out this evening for Jake's (my little brother) graduation! I can't believe he is done with HS. I swear he was just a little boy that I baby sat on Friday nights (for NO compensation!)--if your reading mom, you owe me for that! I am extremely proud of him! He is an all around great kid, he has a great head on his shoulders! He makes wonderful decisions and will go far in life. I just can't wait to see what he does with all this potential. CONGRATS JAKE!
